Issues with saving - Xbox

For save file situation we also specifically advise to:

Storage

  • Ensure that your Xbox has sufficient free storage space. If your storage is full, it may prevent the game from saving new progress. Go to Settings > System > Storage to check the available space.

Cloud

  • If you use cloud save features, check if there are any issues with syncing your save data to the cloud. Go to Settings > System > Storage > Manage storage > View contents, and select your profile. Ensure that the game's save data is being uploaded to the cloud.

Xbox Live

  • Sometimes, issues with Xbox Live services can affect the ability to save progress. Check the Xbox Live service status on the official Xbox website to see if there are any ongoing issues: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

  • Ensure your Xbox is connected to the internet and syncing saves with Xbox Live. Offline play may cause your saves not to update properly.

Manual Sync

  • For testing purposes, you may try to manually sync your save data. Ensure your Xbox is connected to a stable network (ideally via a LAN Cable) and go to Settings > System > Storage > Clear Local Saved Games. This forces the console to re-sync with the Xbox Cloud when you restart the game.

Xbox Support

  • Additionally, it might be worthwhile to contact Xbox Support to verify if the situation lies within their save or sync systems. They may also have more advanced steps for the Xbox Troubleshooting.
