Connection | Multiplayer on Dedicated Servers

The server hosting company or the server owner is responsible for all server performance and connection issues. We (the game developers) do not have access to private servers and cannot fix these situations when they arise.

  • Contact your server provider for:
  • Connection failures or timeout errors.
  • High ping, severe lag, or "rubber-banding".
  • Desync issues (players/items not in the right place or invisible).
  • Frequent disconnections.
  • The server is not appearing in the list.
  • Not being able to connect to the server.

However, if the server is running fine but you find a bug in the game itself, please file a Bug Report with us for:

  • Gameplay bugs (crafting, missions, items)
  • Visual glitches or broken animations
  • Getting stuck in the world
