Crash during gameplay

If your game crashes during gameplay actions (opening inventory, fighting with enemies, building, etc.), please follow the troubleshooting below:

  1. Check your hard drive space. Lack of free space can lead to crashes or freezes.
  2. Check RAM usage while running the game, if possible - there might not be enough free memory for StarRupture to run properly.
  3. Verify game files on Steam: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/0C48-FCBD-DA71-93EB Reinstalling the game may also be helpful.

  5. Update Hardware Drivers. Make sure graphic drivers are properly updated to the newest Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) version:

Are you playing in Singleplayer or Co-op? The Listen Server is when one of the players is also the host. If that player leaves, the game ends for everyone; while on the Dedicated server, players can join whenever they wish to.
