Difficulty settings
The current Early Access version of StarRupture does not include traditional difficulty menu settings (e.g., Easy, Normal, Hard, etc).
Instead, the difficulty is integrated into the world’s design. The environment is built with different “paths” in mind - each varying in challenge. It is up to the player to decide what type of experience they want to have.
If you find a particular area or encounter is too difficult, it is often a sign to explore a different route. You can return to the more challenging path later, after you have gained better skills or equipment.
As the game is in Early Access, we are actively gathering player feedback on game balance, and this design may be adjusted in future updates.
